JustShows Terms of Use

1. Who we are

By using the app, you accept these terms. They supplement the terms of the App Store or Google Play, from which you installed it.

2. The service

JustShows helps you keep track of your TV shows and anime: library, watched and rewatched episodes, upcoming release schedule, on-device reminders, statistics and shareable cards, TV Time import, backup and restore.

The app does not let you watch, stream or download videos, films or episodes, and does not tell you where to watch them.

Searching, refreshing show details and the first download of translation models require an internet connection. The rest of the app works offline.

3. Use

JustShows is free, with no sign-up, for personal and non-commercial use. You agree not to bypass the purchase system, use the app to bulk-extract data from its sources, or disrupt how it works.

4. Cosmetic packs

Optional packs, such as the Signature Pack and Frights · Halloween, change how the app looks: background effects, colours, icons and designs for shared cards. They add no tracking features: everything you need to follow your shows stays free.

• One-time purchase, no subscription. Each pack is independent and unlocks the content shown in the in-app shop, which you can try before buying.
• Price and payment. The price shown, in your currency and including taxes, comes from the App Store or Google Play. Payment is processed by the store, under its terms.
• Restoring. Purchases are restored with the same account on the same store, for example after reinstalling or on a new device. Purchases cannot be transferred between Apple and Google.
• Refunds and withdrawal. These follow the procedures and terms of the store that took the payment. If a purchase is refunded, that pack is removed from the app.
• What a pack includes. A pack grants a personal, non-transferable right to use its content. It does not include future collections, cloud backup or widgets. A design may be adjusted to fix it or to adapt it to a new version of iOS or Android.

5. Your data and backups

JustShows has no server for your tracking data: it stays on your device. Deleting the app or its data therefore erases your library. We recommend using the built-in export regularly and keeping the file somewhere safe. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

6. Third-party content

Show and episode details come from TVMaze, under the CC BY-SA licence. Posters, titles and images belong to their respective owners. JustShows is not affiliated with any show, network or platform. Release dates may change without notice, and automatic translations of summaries may be imperfect.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its name, logo, icons, effects and card designs are creations of My Teddy Stories. They may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission. Cards you generate are yours to share personally.

8. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep JustShows working well and up to date, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, especially for third-party services (TVMaze, app stores, system notifications). To the extent permitted by law, My Teddy Stories is not liable for the loss of data that was not backed up or for a missed reminder. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the app evolves. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced in the app or in the release notes.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protections of your country of residence. If something goes wrong, please write to us first at [email protected]: we always look for an amicable solution.
